I will be accompanying the amazing London-based Khyal vocalist Prabhat Rao at World Yoga Festival, Reading.
Friday 20th July evening.
We will be opening with some Om chanting, followed by Prabhat performing a composition in Yaman (vilambit ektaal and drut teentaal), accompanied by Pulkit Sharma on tabla, Rishikesh Kardile on harmonium and myself on bansuri. This will be followed by Kirtan.
Sunday 22nd July morning
I am providing tanpura accompaniment on for Prabhat’s morning concert, along with Nandini Bhat.
Tickets are available just for the evening concerts as well as for the festival.
